Dionysus is a very special little god.  He was birthed from a burly man-thigh, kidnapped by pirates, driven crazy by his step-mother, the creator of wine (thanks largely in part to a lover of his dying), and had followers who were frequently inspired to rip things apart with their bare hands.  He's a dangerous person to irritate, no matter how laid back he seems to be.

This is an excellent reference, though it gives you like...six different versions of everything.

Permission and all that jazz:

Notes for the Psychics: Dionysus's mind is a very messy place to be.  He governs insanity, and values what little privacy he demands for himself; because of that, he's made a point of protecting his thoughts.  If someone manages to get past the little insanity traps, they'll probably find a lot of odd things, like regret that he'll never voice and other such things.  If he finds out that someone's been inside of his mind, he WILL go apeshit and do everything in his power to cause hell for the poor schmuck.  Family is only partially exempt from this.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him:  Anything except past lovers.  Ariadne, specifically, though Ampelos is also a touchy subject.  Dionysus is still bitter about their deaths, even if it's been a while.  He really dislikes people calling him a liar when he's telling the truth, and hates it even more when people don't trust his word.  Past that, pretty much everything is cool.  It all kind of depends on his mood.

Abilities:  His domain is primarily wine and madness, though there's a fair bit of shapechanging as well.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/slash/etc?:  By all means, go ahead.  I mean, you should ask first and all, but Dionysus can shapeshift already thanks to that whole 'god' thing.  Bodyswapping is also cool with permission.  As for slash, he's naturally pansexual, so whatever.  If you hit on him, chances are he'll return the favor.  No long-term relationships, though.  He does one-night stands and casual, meaningless flings--he got tired of lovers dying on him, and refuses to get that close to someone unless he knows that they'll live longer than your typical mortal.

Maim/Murder/Death:  Maiming is fine just so long as you wish to face divine retribution.  He gets really grumpy when honestly threatened, as long as you're not Ares.  He kind of invites those threats.  Murder/death in general is highly unlikely, but it'd be fun as hell to watch him freak out about dying, so I guess it depends on the situation.

Kissing/Hugging/Badtouch:  Hugging is great.  Kissing is better.  He'll shag anything (humanoid) on two legs as long as it's willing and it has a pretty face.  Dionysus is essentially rape-proof, though, so we'll be having none of that unless you're awesome or something.
