In Greek mythology, Eros (Greek: Ἔρως) was the primordial god of lust, love, and intercourse; he was also worshipped as a fertility deity. His name is the root of words such as erotic. In some myths, he was the son of the deities Aphrodite and Ares. Like Dionysus, he was sometimes referred to as Eleutherios, "the liberator". 

Throughout Greek thought, there appear to be two sides to the conception of Eros; in the first, he is a primeval deity who embodies not only the force of erotic love but also the creative urge of ever-flowing nature, the firstborn Light that is responsible for the coming into being and ordering of all things in the cosmos. In Hesiod's Theogony, the most famous Greek creation myth, Eros sprang forth from the primordial Chaos together with Gaia, the Earth, and Tartarus, the underworld.

In some myths, he is portrayed as being playful, frequently causing trouble for gods and mortals; in others, he is mindful of the power he wields, sometimes refusing the entreaties of his mother and other gods to interfere in the course of some mortals' lives.

His PB is not one but many. I had intended for it to be Hayden Christensen at first, but found that no one actor could capture his expressions correctly. This turned to me using Hollow Art like a celebrity grabbag to get what I needed to convey what Eros was feeling.  He has, since then, acquired Natalie Portman as his female PB and when he came into posession of a panda, I gave him some Balasi icons. :|;; I made all the panda icons, but all other icons were snagged from Hollow Art.

9. Some myths say he has a twin brother, who rules Mutual Love, or Reciprocated love. That is because Eros himself has the ability to make one indifferent to love (unrequited love!), as well as fall into love.

7. V-day virus had him falling in love with Apollo, which he wants to speak not a WORD about.

8. Was eternally scarred over death when he was under the impression his father died. They cuddled later, even if Ares doesn't want to admit it.
