HISTORY

So lo, long ago in the past, when the Janella was but a wee child, she read Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern series, and saw that it was really, really cool. And when Invader ZIM introduced her to the world of fandom, she combined the Internet and the dragons, and...was severely disappointed when she realized that darling Anne was one of a great tradition of Batshit Authors Named Anne.

Yea, she went and found AvidGamers anyway, and joined many roleplaying Weyrs great and small, and for a long time it was good. Then it got kind of boring. Then AG switched to AG2 and she said, "Enough is enough!" and quit RPing altogether.

Time passed, and the Janella continued to poke around the Internet, learning eventually of that great e-wilderness known as LiveJournal. Finally, she joined, at the behest of a friend. Said friend had a habit of sharing interesting links. Said friend knew of the Janella's love for Jurassic Park, and for House, and one day, she linked her to some interesting threads at a certain little RPing community. She lurked, and poked around, and explored, and finally, decided to join, using a character from an interesting and little-known little book known as Dragons: The Modern Infestation.

And thus, Philomel joined DramaDramaDuck.

Yea, for a time, this was enough. Janella played, and attended school, and enjoyed sliding into chat occasionally to allow herself to be immersed in the madness. Then, alas, summer came, and with it, the (at-the-time) shitty Internet access of her home and forced summer employment. She hiatused.

But it was not all bad, for in that glorious summer, Transformers 2007 came out, and the Janella saw it, and deemed it good. And then went mechacrazy and immersed herself in TF fandom goodness. And so, when she finally returned, to school and to DramaDramaDuck, and saw there was a Bumblebee, she was inspired, and Blackout-muse was born, and lo, she learned one great and fundamental fact: Being charming and polite and obsessed with dragons on the Internet may be easy and entretaining, but being evil is fun.

From there, she found the muse for Mikaela, who turned out to be equally awesome and a different kind of fun. She also found Temeraire, a book character significantly less obscure than Philomel, but his muse died. Then she applied for Tulio, a la The Road to El Dorado, and...well, it remains to be seen how long he will last. >:

Currently, Janella is in chat as much as she can be, hanging out and being oblivious to conversations about video games and anime and manga, since she really doesn't read/watch them much, and never plays video games. She is always willing to discuss Blackout's sex life, or just Transformers in general, since she's still pretty obsessed.

She was responsible for the first draft of the Transformers plot page, and though, of course, anyone is welcome to add to and edit it, she likes to think she is still nominally in charge. Nominally. Ahahaha.
