Canon Information: An independent man with a foggy past. His live consists of only guarding the Master Emerald. He knows little of his past, but often doesn't seem to mind it. However, at times he does long for a bit of adventure, and will often go with Sonic for a good fight. Those two usually wind up fighting anyway....Sonic loves to annoy him, and Knuckles is easily angered. He's also very gullible, always making him an easy target of Eggman's plans. He's a stubborn echidna, who sticks hard to his beliefs. Is also easily flustered by Rouge, but will not admit to this~

He's not very social, but somehow has become known amongst Sonic's friends as one of their allies.

DDD Information: Tails dropped off a laptop at the Shrine, telling Knuckles he needed to catch up.  Since then, he has been the constant target of Shadow's verbal abuse, but has managed to at least find some comfort in the apparently not-so-dead Tikal. However, his over confidence has cost him, as he found himself in a match aganist Tsunade.

Instances at DDD include:

• Shock over all the Sonic characters around
• Finding out Shadow and Rouge 'did it'. By word of Sonic. During the family virus.
• Offering up Chao to the community.
• Standing up for Tikal when Jessie verbally abused her. (And then being called 'his own grandpa' by Shadow for doing so. Which Shadow regrets not doing sooner.)
