Monkey Island is a series of graphic adventure games by Lucas Arts that was started in 1990. It tells the confusing, convoluted and often hilarious story of an inept young pirate named Guybrush Threepwood. Guybrush lives in the Caribbean and runs into his share of undead pirates while avoiding the demon pirate Le Chuck. With Vodou, undead, pirates, and monkeys this series is eerily similar to Pirates of the Caribbean. Being graphic adventures, the Monkey Island series is all about puzzles and characters. You never fight and you can't die.
