Rena Ryuugu

Originally hailing from Hinamizawa, Rena is from the animé incarnation of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. At first, she looks like a sweet, innocent teen girl who simply adores cute things, being with her friends, and playing games. However, piss her off enough, and she'll make you regret the day you ever met her. That cleaver in the picture? Is her favorite weapon, although she's used a wide range of weapons - a metal baseball bat, a lead pipe, a rotary phone (to hit someone over the head), and jump ropes (they make good whips, and are useful in hostage situations).

She's also much smarter than she initially lets on. Don't let the dumb cute act fool you!

Also, what she thinks is cute...you might think is downright bizarre.

DDD Canon

She's been taken through the first arc in Higurashi (Onikakushi-hen AKA Spirited Away by the Demon arc), so she's already been killed once by Keiichi (and brought back, so she has no memories of it whatsoever). Also, her birthday has passed, so Rena's now sixteen and living with Kuroudo Akabane, whom she's adopted as her father - she usually refers to him as "Akabane-tousan." It's begun to wane though, for reasons Rena does not want to disclose AT ALL hurr, denial although she tends to accidentally hint pretty blatantly at it.

Rena's also good friends with Quatre, Mikey and his brothers, Megara, Jack Frost, Hinata, Apollo, and others the mun can't remember right now.

She also wishes Karen would quit thinking she faked her death.
