FF7/AC-verse, Rufus ShinRa is the hotshot CEO of a major corporation. His regime is destroyed when the world finds out it's sucking the lifeblood from the planet and he is forced to start from nothing (AC).

DDD-verse, he has serious grudges against/insecurity issues with the following: Kadaj, Cloud, Yazoo, Sephiroth, Wuya, Dante and Loz. He is also uked by everyone--especially Tifa. He suffered and died from geostigma when it spread around, then was brought back to life without his memories by Wuya. (pseudo-kidnapped) He slowly gained them back and realized it was Wuya's fault he died, and went back to dating Tifa. He gets along well with Colette and Tifa, mostly.
