Synopsis (From Wikipedia)
The game takes place on a version of the planet Filgaia (see Wild ARMs-series) that is desertic to the point of having even its seas made of sand; supposedly the result of an ancient war. Four "Drifters" (adventurers) find themselves chosen to wield the power of the planet's spiritual protectors, The Guardians, to stop a prophesied but unknown menace to their world. As they adventure together, they find opposition from other drifter teams, from a trio of fanatical scientists called The Prophets, and from the "Demons" of Filgaian legend, eventually making startling discoveries about their World's true history, and their personal connections to it.
Our dragons are mecha <3
Filgaia is a desert-like planet. Fruits and berries grow in grassy patches, and horses are the main source of transport, apart from the nifty "Telepport Orb" Malik swears by and then taunts you with because you can create submarines to cross the sand yet don't have cars.
Ask: A Teleport Orb is a small silver sphere used for, guess what? Teleporting. It will also serve as a likely means of travel for the characters between dimensions, if calabrated, shot or otherwise kicked.
Characters:
Mains:
Virginia Maxwell - she has a strong sense of justice. Others accuse her of having the Tea Syndrome.
Jet Enduro - cold and unemotional emo alert. Don't call him Sample-boy.
Clive Winslett - hard to Mary-Sue, thank God, due to having a wife and child. Lucky bloke.
Gallows Caradine - it's canon he likes women, but he never gets the love ;_;
I-Want-More-Screentime:
Janus Cascade - a famous drifter. Has a bomb inside his body. Like you do.
Werner Maxwell - Leehalt did not have sexual relations with that man.
Shane Caradine - twincest and yaoi bait.
The Prophets:
Melody Vilente - I AM BEAUTIFUL, DAMNIT!
Malik Benedict - the unhittable Oedipus wonder. Also likes his Mama in the way Kadaj loves Jenova.
Leehalt Alcaste - the sourpuss with the headdress. And Gendo Ikari's Japanese VA. Oooh.
The Schrödinger Family:
Maya Schrödinger - Calamity Jane Mark II.
Alfred Schrödinger - a pyromaniac. Keep him away from fireworks and explosives.
Todd Dukakis - AFRO BUTLER!
Shady Thousand - He was summoned by Maya's ancestors and used to perform experiments involving shutting him in a box. So, he was Schrödinger's Cat. Get it? *cough*
Demons:
Siegfried - no relation to Sieg from Soul Caliber.
Beatrice - 4chan likes evil lolis.
You can also fight on horseback. Whee!
One more thing. If one lives in a world of sand, where the hell's the water?
In wells and aquafers, dumbass. - Jet
