SCREW THE INTRODUCTION, HERE'S THE DAMN OPENING MOVIE THAT DOESN'T REALLY MAKE SENSE UNLESS YOU BEAT THE GAME!

Xenogears is a console role playing game for the Sony Playstation. Originally, it was Episode V in a series of six games; but for some reason, that never came to light. It sort of lived on through Xenosaga, which was also supposed to have six episodes, but was recently cut in half. Whether Xenogears is really supposed to be Xenosaga Episode V is unknown, but evidence in the timeline Perfect Works provided seems to disprove this.

Lots of fanboys people consider Xenogears to have very complex plot compared to the Final Fantasy series. This is true, part of the fun in Xenogears is figuring out what the hell is going on.

You play as Fei Fong Wong, a guy who doesn't remember his own past. Through the game, you get to fight both on foot, and inside giant combat robots called "Gears". Needless to say, the story has plot twists and random biblical references liek whoa.

A summary of the WHOLE plot would probably be confusing as hell to those who haven't played the game, so included is a summary of the beginning. That is, it was until Bart-mun decided to wipe it.
